As we approach the final phase of the migration from SOAP to REST, we want to ensure you have everything you need for a smooth and successful transition. The SOAP API will be fully decommissioned at the end of June 2026. From that point onward, A2A connectivity will be available exclusively via REST, and users who have not migrated to REST will only be able to access the Portal through the web interface

With just over 6 months to go, now is the ideal time to progress your testing, prepare your sign-off, and plan your go-live activities.

Steps to go live:

As part of the migration from SOAP to REST, please follow the four steps outlined below to ensure a smooth transition and go live.

  1. Register for the Developer Portal
  2. Obtain your testing credentials
  3. Submit your sign-off pack When planning your migration, please take into account the fact that the sign off process for your testing can take up to 10 business days and the request for production credentials can take up to 5 business days and can take longer during peak periods.
  4. Complete production REST API form to obtain production credentials

Once you have successfully migrated to the REST API, you may continue to run both the existing SOAP and new REST interfaces in parallel for up to three weeks (reduced from five weeks based on user feedback) following your go-live date. After this period, your SOAP connection will be disabled.  If you require longer than 3 weeks dual running, please contact us.

Once live, you may run both your existing SOAP interface and the new REST API in parallel for up to three weeks (reduced from five weeks based on user feedback). If you require an extension beyond this period, please contact us.

The Countdown Is On

With the June 2026 cut-off approaching, we encourage all users to prioritise their migration plans and avoid last-minute pressures, if you haven’t already, please let us know of your planned migration date.
